Winter Tour Packages in Fairbanks, Alaska

By pairing a thrilling 2-hour snowmobile ride with one or more additional guided adventures (dog sledding   and/or ice fishing  ), Rod’s Alaskan Guide Service gives you the freedom to design a winter itinerary that fits your interests, your pace, and your travel schedule. Want to add ice fishing, aurora viewing, or another signature Fairbanks activity? You can build your day your way, with a recommended 30 minute buffer time between tours to relax, warm up, or get to your next destination. How Combo Tours Work

Combo tours are built for flexibility and value, while still keeping things simple. The only requirement is that your first activity must be the 2-hour snowmobile tour. After that, you can add as many eligible tours as you’d like in the same booking session, with your combo discount applied automatically at checkout. All scheduling is done at the time of booking, and tours can be spaced out across the day, or multiple days, based on your preferences and schedule.

How to book a combo tour:

How to book a combo tour:

What our visitors have said about combo tours

“My family and I had a great experience with Rod’s Alaskan guide services. We booked their services for ice fishing, snowmobile tour, and dog sledding. For the ice fishing, it was my husband and my son who experienced that excursion and they both loved it, both caught plenty of fish, their experience included them being able to keep one fish and having the option to getting it cooked on the spot for them to consume.”
— Annette B.
“We had the best time here and would absolutely come back! 10/10 recommended if you’re near Fairbanks. The staff is so friendly and the experiences were so fun! We snowmobiled with Victoria, and we had a blast. She made it really adventurous and enjoyable. The dog sledding was such a great time. Kristen, Laura, Joe and Jimmy were awesome. We learned so much about their dogs and had a blast riding. They were phenomenal guides and clearly love what they do!”
— Lauren J.
“We booked two different tours: one for snowmobiling and another for dog sledding. We actually preferred the dog sledding because we got to interact with the dogs, who were super cute and aged between 2 and 6 years old. Our guide was very friendly and explained the relationships among the dogs—apparently, an entire family of dogs was running the sled. The 30-minute dog sledding experience was just right, as it was extremely cold outside.
